Part of the Rosy Green Wool Collection Decade 2022 Mengeti is an oversized raglan tee with a boxy, relaxed fit. Choose between the crew neck and V-neck variation; knit a hip-length tee or a cropped version to wear with high-waisted trousers and skirts; and finally, determine whether you prefer a closed or a split hem. The loosely fitted design gently hugs your silhouette and -with its short raglan sleeves and clear lines- is great for taking your first steps into knitting tops and sweaters.
Construction:Knit from the top down in the round in stockinette stitch, using raglan increases to shape the yoke. For the crew-neck version, you form the back shoulders with short rows. Nice and simple details like the tubular cast-on, tubular cast-off and faux side-seams of purl stitches give the design a professional finish. The different neck, hem and length options offer lots of scope for personalisation.
