This curved shawl gently wraps around you with the cosy volume of our Lovely Merino Treat in garter stitch, and is crowned by a beautiful lace border, which in the gentle Moods tone "Pistachio" is reminiscent of delicate green leaves. Pure nature to accompany you on every journey.
Construction: With its main body in garter stitch, Leaflight offers you deep relaxation and mindless knitting. The curve of the crescent-shaped shawl is achieved with short rows and increases in this section. You then cast on new stitches for the wide lace border that runs along the bottom edge, and knit it perpendicular to the main section, while joining the two by knitting stitches from the lace edge and the main section together.
Finished Measurements: 73.5" (184.5 cm) wide and 14" (35 cm) deep at the centre, after blocking.

Needles: 4 mm (US 6) 100 cm (40") circular needle
