Designed for the Fall 2024 Quince Quarterly subscription box, here is Flette (Norwegian for braid). Knit in Quince & Co.’s cozy wool/alpaca blend, Owl, this close-fitting dickey features braided cables cascading down both front and back. Worked from the bottom up, the piece begins with the front panel. After shaping the neckline and placing those stitches on hold, the back is worked separately—also bottom up—and joined at the shoulders with a three-needle bind-off. A final touch: stitches are picked up around the neckline to form a turtleneck collar.
